History:
Shelter of the Sorrowful Sisters. This was the name of a whole complex of buildings built for the needs of sick people back in the XIX century in Odessa.
Design Description:
In 1999 the building of the church was reconstructed into a two-storeyed building with a basement and an attic roof, a bell tower was added.

Sturdz's almshouse of the Heartbreaking Sisters was built in 1849-1850. In 1869, next to the poorhouse, the construction of a new house church was completed on the projects of architects F. O. Morandi and I. S. Shashina.
