ORTHODOX CHURCH on Zmeinij Island

History:
According to an ancient Greek legend, island was lifted from sea bottom by goddess Fetida for her son Ahilla. First mention about Zmeinyj island was found in sources belonging to the end of 5th century AC.
Design Description:
Small and elegant church is designed to withstand of  extremely strong weather and natural disaster, building is standing on the rock foundation and by itself its whole concrete structure to be time and weather proof.
